Who we are
Hello! I am Megan Washburn, the owner and operator of Haven Home Services. After teaching for 6 years, I decided to explore a new path that allowed me to utilize my organizational abilities, attention to detail, and dedication to assisting others.
I started my home service journey by learning from an experienced home manager with 40 years of experience in the Horseshoe Bay Area. This opportunity gave
me the insight to create a customizable home management service that insures you get the most of your lake LBJ experience. Inside, outside, or lakeside, I can make sure your weekend getaway or primary residence is ready to go for any occasion.
Another key member of the Haven Home services team is my husband, Zac, who will assist in your home maintenance and watercraft plans. His extensive experience in building and renovating luxury properties here in Horseshoe Bay ensures your homes receive the best attention. He will also perform many preventative routine maintenance tasks to ensure that your home and watercraft run smoothly when it matters.

What we do
Haven Home services believes that preventative maintenance and frequent checks on your home throughout the year insures a hassle free homeowner experience for you.
We offer both home watch services and comprehensive concierge services, letting you choose a package that best fits the needs of your family and your home. All of our packages include custom home watch and maintenance plans, communicated through a weekly or bi-weekly report in order to keep you up to date on the status of your home.
By letting us handle tasks such as hiring and supervising of cleaners, lawn care, and subcontractors, you are able to enjoy all the comforts of your home without the stress. We help get everything ready before you arrive and back in order after you leave. We will strive to prevent and work towards a solution to fix any issues at your home.
Our priority is to make sure your lake house is a peaceful haven, not a source of worry!
Services
We will check your home on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule and send a personalized status report via email. See below for an example of the communication you will receive. We will also provide a preventative maintenance plan as well as provide service recommendations. To ensure peace of mind, we will also perform pre/post storm prep and checks. No contract, start, stop, or pause any time of year.

-Homeowners who would like to manage vendors (schedule landscaping, cleaning services, pool care) on their own.
Tier 1- Home Watch Services
Home management services includes all the of the home watch services, as well as collecting repair/service estimates and overseeing the work. This is in addition to a custom preventative maintenance plan as well as providing service recommendations.

-Those wanting to make sure their house is fully cared for
-Homeowners who would like Haven Home to manage the upkeep and maintenance of their home
-Those wanting Haven Home to take away the stress of getting repair estimates, and eliminate the need for the homeowner to be present while repairs are being completed

FAQ
How is pricing determined?
For home watch, pricing is determined by frequency of visits (homeowner preference). For home management and concierge services, pricing is determined by square footage and number of bedrooms, number of services the home owner would like performed, and frequency of use. Please reach out if you would like a quote for your home.
How do you communicate with homeowners?
I primarily communicate via email, text, or phone call. For each home, a custom report will be created and completed each time we visit your home. The report will then be emailed to the homeowners. Visit the “Services” page to see an example status report.
What preventative maintenance do you perform?
Haven Home has a total of 36 preventative maintenance tasks that we track in order to keep your home in top shape. Homeowners can choose which tasks they would like Haven to complete or schedule. While we do perform many of these tasks, some tasks will be completed by our network of trusted professionals. Please reach out to us to see the complete list of tasks and who will be completing them.
